Tomorrow at 2 pm ET / 11 am PT, WaterISAC will convene the next event in its quarterly Water Sector Natural Disaster Threat Briefings series. The focus of this briefing will be wildfires, which have been some of the most destructive and costly natural disasters for communities and critical infrastructure. In the water and wastewater sector, wildfires have threatened and damaged infrastructure and caused significant operational impacts. To help its members better understand these events and manage the risks, WaterISAC will welcome briefers who will provide a wildfire outlook and an overview of wildfire mitigation best practices for utilities.
