Apply for a Complimentary WaterISAC Membership!
As part of this pilot, newly approved members will also receive access to WaterISAC’s H2OSecCon session: Responding to a Cyberattack on a Small Water Utility.*
Before you apply, please confirm:
- Your utility is an NRWA member
- Your utility serves fewer than 10,000 people
- Your utility is not currently a WaterISAC member
- You are submitting a new WaterISAC membership application under this pilot
* This pilot is intended for new WaterISAC membership applications only. Current WaterISAC members are not eligible to switch to this complimentary pilot during their current membership term.
This pilot is available to NRWA member utilities serving fewer than 10,000 people that are not currently WaterISAC members.
No. This offer is for new WaterISAC membership applications only under the NRWA pilot. Utilities that are already WaterISAC members are not eligible to switch to complimentary membership during their current membership term.
Approved utilities receive 12 months of complimentary WaterISAC membership beginning on their membership start date.
Continued complimentary membership beyond the initial 12-month term will depend on the future of the NRWA pilot and any subsequent agreement between NRWA and WaterISAC. If the pilot is not continued, standard WaterISAC membership dues may apply at renewal.
Potentially. If the pilot is successful, WaterISAC and NRWA may explore whether existing WaterISAC member utilities under the 10,000 population threshold can become eligible for complimentary membership at renewal. However, that is not part of the current pilot offer.
WaterISAC membership provides access to timely cyber and physical security alerts, weekly security and resilience updates, webinars and briefings, incident reporting and analysis, and other water-sector security resources.
Newly approved pilot members will receive access to WaterISAC’s H2OSecCon session:
Responding to a Cyberattack on a Small Water Utility
This session offers a detailed, real-world case study of a cyberattack affecting a small water utility, including the utility’s response and key lessons learned.
Eligible utilities can apply by completing the WaterISAC membership application for the NRWA pilot.
