The FBI, the National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC), and several U.S. Department of Defense agencies recently published a guidance bulletin “Safeguarding the U.S. Defense Industrial Base and Private Industry Against Sabotage” to highlight the growing threat of Russian sabotage activity in Europe targeting infrastructure organizations and private companies. Rising geopolitical tensions and overseas conflicts have increased the security risk to Western critical infrastructure from adversarial nation states.
