Join WaterISAC for a special briefing on threats to ICS endpoints on September 15th. During this briefing TrendMicro Senior Threat Researcher Lord Remorin will discuss the findings of a report recently published by his company, 2020 Report: ICS Endpoints as Starting Points for Threats. For this project TrendMicro explored the status of global industrial systems in terms of their security against both known and new threats that hound ICS endpoints. It looked at the data from ICS endpoints that are part of the IT/OT network, specifically industrial automation suites and engineering workstations. The research revealed that ransomware, coinminers, and legacy malware represent the most significant threats to ICS endpoints. Lord will explore this and other findings during the briefing, followed by a Q&A with the audience.
