Updated EPA Route to Resilience Tool for Drinking Water and Wastewater Utilities

EPA’s Route to Resilience Tool is now a web-based application. The application provides users with brief videos and an easy to navigate interface to guide utilities through the process of building their own unique Roadmap to Resilience report. The updated tool was developed to help utilities understand the framework in building overall resilience using five key components: Assess, Plan, Train, Respond, and Recover. After creating a Roadmap to Resilience report, the application recommends specific tools and resources for a utility to increase its resilience. This tool can also be used to help develop or update risk assessments and emergency response plans as mandated by the 2018 America’s Water Infrastructure Act. Access the tool at EPA.
