During WaterISAC’s Physical Threat Briefing tomorrow, presenters from Foresight, the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), and WaterISAC will discuss the risk of political violence and civil unrest surrounding the upcoming elections. During the webinar, Foresight will discuss potential scenarios of civil unrest that could occur surrounding the elections. I&A briefers will detail the possible threats stemming from violent extremists and how extremists could take advantage of constitutionally protected protest activity to instigate violence. Lastly, WaterISAC will examine the risks to critical infrastructure stemming from the heightened threat environment and provide security recommendations and best practices for managing potential security threats.
