Yesterday, WaterISAC’s Director of Infrastructure Cyber Defense sent a letter to members regarding this Mandiant report which suggests recent incidents at multiple Texas water utilities may be attributed to a hacktivist group that it believes is aligned with the Russian Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) group known as SANDWORM.
