CISA’s Water and Wastewater Systems Sector Cyber Risk Summary

The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) released the TLP:AMBER Cyber Risk Summary: Water and Wastewater Systems Sector report outlining findings from its Cyber Hygiene (CyHy) Vulnerability Scanning and Cybersecurity Assessments services. Identified trends are based on information collected from 44 Water and Wastewater Services (WWS) entities in fiscal year 2021. The results of this report were discussed yesterday during WaterISAC’s cyber threat briefing (see presentation and recording below).
