Community-Based Water Resiliency Tool
About the CBWR Tool
U.S. EPA’s Community-Based Water Resiliency (CBWR) electronic tool helps assess your community’s resiliency to water service disruptions and provides more than 340 tools and resources that can be used to enhance resiliency. The tool contains a self-assessment feature that provides users with questions tailored to their stakeholder group and culminates in a self-assessment summary report, which details the strengths and weaknesses of the users’ community’s resiliency and recommends tools and resources that can be used to enhance resiliency. Users can then navigate to the CBWR toolbox, where they can find more information about the recommended tools and resources.
These resources for water resiliency and protection can be implemented by community stakeholder groups including the Water Sector, Healthcare and Public Health Sector, Emergency Services Sector, State and Tribal Primacy Agencies, Local Officials, Community Partners, and other Non-Water Entities.
