Five Common Employee Offboarding Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them

The Hacker News has written an article discussing five common pitfalls that IT departments face when offboarding employees from the organization and how to avoid them.

These pitfalls include not considering any shadow assets the offboarding employee had access to, not involving the internal owners of each application the employee might have access to, and suspending email access before other critical steps are completed.
