The three-day virtual conference, H2OSecCon focusing on Security for the Water Sector kicks-off in less than a month – November 15 – 17! WaterISAC recently provided a sneak peek for Day One of the event which involves a concentration on physical security and resilience here. Day Two of H2OSecCon will focus on cybersecurity for all those involved with and/or responsible for the cyber protection of their agency and/or utility. Hint: that’s everyone!
The conference on Wednesday, November 16 will commence with opening remarks from Rep. John Katko (R-NY), Ranking Member of the House Homeland Security Committee and Nushat Thomas, Cybersecurity Branch Chief of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In addition to the two main stage speakers, Day Two has specially curated sessions and panels focused on the ins and outs of cybersecurity for the water and wastewater sector with leading experts in the field. Sessions and panels on Day Two include:
