Domestic violent extremists (DVEs) continue to present one of the most lethal threats of extremist targeted violence to the U.S. homeland. In particular, many sub-categories of DVEs, including racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists (RMVEs) and anti-government/anti-authority violent extremists (AGAAVEs), continue to call for and plot attacks against critical infrastructure to advance their ideological agendas. With several upcoming polarizing socio-political events, such as the U.S. elections, likely to drive an increase in attack plotting, critical infrastructure owners and operators are encouraged to maintain heightened vigilance. A (U//FOUO) report is attached to this analysis. FOR U.S. MEMBERS.
