Many water and wastewater utilities are faced with having to replace aged, insecure, and obsolete control systems and devices. However, after such longevity from the old ones, could there be a concern that new OT devices and systems will have to be replaced more frequently, such as every 5 years or less, like their IT counterparts? Not necessarily.
