Pardon the play on arguably one of the most famous lines from the movie, “A Few Good Men,” but that’s what this recent blog post from WaterISAC Champion, Gate 15 is all about. Gate 15 has a lot of experience helping clients prepare for a ransomware attack BEFORE it happens by exercising response plans. However, for every exercise that Gate 15 executes, it has even more conversations with organizations of all shapes and sizes that say they want to do an exercise, but then decide it’s not in their budget. Even in the face of mind-boggling statistics and headline after headline, some organizations can’t handle the truth and still think they can’t afford to exercise. The reality is, no organization can afford not to exercise! Whether you hire experts like Gate 15 or decide to plan and conduct exercises on your own, it’s as certain as death and taxes, every organization needs to prepare for ransomware! So, will you exercise or atrophy? Check out this recent post at Gate 15 to find out what happens when you don’t exercise.
