New CISA Infrastructure Resilience Planning Framework Case Studies Includes Water & Wastewater Use Case

Author: April Zupan

Created: Thursday, November 30, 2023 - 17:04

Categories: Federal & State Resources, General Security and Resilience, Security Preparedness

CISA has published several Infrastructure Resilience Planning Framework (IRPF) Case Studies highlighting how the IRPF has been successfully used to support various local and regional planning efforts. CISA’s IRPF is comprehensive, step-by-step planning guidance to inform long-term planning and investment decisions.

The three case studies summarize stakeholders’ experiences with using the IRPF to guide vulnerability assessment and planning, enhance local hazard mitigation planning, and inform federal grant funding application for a priority mitigation project. Members are encouraged to view these documents, especially the water and wastewater planning case study, in order to glean inspiration for their own planning, resilience, and grant application efforts.
