FEMA Continuity Training Schedule

FEMA has published its October schedule of National Continuity training and activities. Some of the courses FEMA is offering for this and the coming months include the Continuity of Operations (COOP) Program Managers Course and the Continuity Planners Workshop. The COOP Program Managers Course covers program requirements and elements and support requirements and describes the roles and responsibilities of the Continuity Program Manager and other key players in developing a viable continuity program. For this course, a virtual convening is being offered in December for FEMA Region 3 audience, which comprises Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. The Continuity Planners Workshop is intended to provide participants with the tools and hands-on experience necessary to improve your departments’ or agencies’ Continuity of Operations (COOP) plans. There are virtual convenings for both nationwide and FEMA Region 3 audiences in October.
