The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has just published a series of four documents intended to help critical infrastructure owners and operators recognize and respond to cases in which someone may be on a path to violence. The products are oriented towards four actions, which include recognize, assess, de-escalate, and report. It includes descriptions of activities and behaviors that may be concerning or indicative of impending violence. This series follows CISA’s Employee Vigilance Through the Power of Hello to help critical infrastructure owners, operators, and staff identify and navigate suspicious activity or potentially escalating situations to safely dis-engage and report to local law enforcement or their organization’s threat management team. Read more and access the resources at CISA.
