Author: Charles Egli

Created: Thursday, December 19, 2019 - 16:55

Categories: Federal & State Resources, Security Preparedness

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has published its Community Bulletin for December 2019, informing its partners about current threat trends and mitigation measures, announcing upcoming events, and highlighting resources that can assist security programs. One of the resources CISA promotes is TRIPwire, or the “Technical Resource for Incident Prevention,” which is a free, online tool intended to increase awareness of improvised explosive device (IED) tactics, techniques, and procedures, as well as incident lessons learned and counter-IED preparedness information. CISA also includes information about its social media efforts in the bulletin, encouraging its partners to stay abreast and spread awareness of its upcoming events and new resources via these channels.
