The below vulnerabilities have been identified by WaterISAC analysts as important for water and wastewater utilities to prioritize in their vulnerability management efforts. WaterISAC shares critical vulnerabilities that affect widely used products and may be under active exploitation. WaterISAC draws additional awareness in alerts and advisories when vulnerabilities are confirmed to be impacting, or have a high likelihood of impacting, water and wastewater utilities. Members are encouraged to regularly review these vulnerabilities, many of which are often included in CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) Catalog.

Linux Kernel posix-cpu-timers
CVSS v3.0: 7.8
CVE: CVE-2025-38352
Description: In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: posix-cpu-timers: fix race between handle_posix_cpu_timers() and posix_cpu_timer_del() If an exiting non-autoreaping task has already passed exit_notify() and calls handle_posix_cpu_timers() from IRQ, it can be reaped by its parent or debugger right after unlock_task_sighand(). If a concurrent posix_cpu_timer_del() runs at that moment, it won’t be able to detect timer->it.cpu.firing != 0: cpu_timer_task_rcu() and/or lock_task_sighand() will fail. Add the tsk->exit_state check into run_posix_cpu_timers() to fix this. This fix is not needed if CONFIG_POSIX_CPU_TIMERS_TASK_WORK=y, because exit_task_work() is called before exit_notify(). But the check still makes sense, task_work_add(&tsk->posix_cputimers_work.work) will fail anyway in this case.

Grafana Labs URL Path Handling XSS
CVSS 3.0: 8.2
CVEs: CVE-2025-4123
Description: A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Grafana caused by combining a client path traversal and open redirect. This allows attackers to redirect users to a website that hosts a frontend plugin that will execute arbitrary JavaScript. This vulnerability does not require editor permissions and if anonymous access is enabled, the XSS will work. If the Grafana Image Renderer plugin is installed, it is possible to exploit the open redirect to achieve a full read SSRF. The default Content-Security-Policy (CSP) in Grafana will block the XSS though the `connect-src` directive.

FlatNews Theme for WordPress Sneeit Framework Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution

CVEs: CVE-2025-6389
Description: The Sneeit Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 8.3 via the sneeit_articles_pagination_callback() function. This is due to the function accepting user input and then passing that through call_user_func(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server which can be leveraged to inject backdoors or, for example, create new administrative user accounts.
