Hostile Event Preparedness Education Series for Fall 2022

Author: Charles Egli

Created: Thursday, August 25, 2022 - 18:17

Categories: Physical Security, Security Preparedness

Following on its successful spring 2022 offering, risk management firm Gate 15 has announced a new series of Hostile Event Preparedness (HEPS) webinars available to the public in fall 2022.

These webinars focus on events where actors are attempting to kill or hurt people in public or semipublic areas. First, presenters offer a deep dive into the nature of the covered threat, before providing attendees with a complete preparedness solution to help them and their organizations address the threat proactively. Topics in the Fall 2022 series include the use of fire as a weapon, how lone actors plan violent events, and a generalist course covering multiple types of hostile events.

The fall 2022 offerings include:

  • Education on Hostile Event Preparedness – October 6 at 1:00 pm ET
  • Fire as a Weapon – October 20 at 12:00 pm ET
  • Hostile Event Attack Cycle – November 10 at 1:00 pm ET

WaterISAC will also post these events in the Upcoming Events section of its Security and Resilience Updates.

Read more and register at Gate 15.

Gate 15 previously provided a Hostile Events Preparedness Webinar just for WaterISAC, in January 2020. Access the recording and related resources here.
