FEMA Guide to Continuity Program Management

Author: Charles Egli

Created: Tuesday, June 2, 2020 - 17:31

Categories: Emergency Response & Recovery, General Security and Resilience, Natural Disasters

FEMA has released the Guide to Continuity Program Management, which provides guidance and templates to assist continuity program managers and planners in developing multi-year strategic plans, project plans, and multi-year test, training, and exercise calendars. FEMA notes that the guide does not address the development of continuity of operations plan. For information and guidance on how to develop a continuity of operations plan, FEMA refers its partners to its Continuity Resource Toolkit. Using these resources, FEMA encourages partners to engage in continuity planning, observing that today’s threat environment and the potential for no-notice emergencies underscore the need for organizations to continue essential functions across a broad spectrum of incidents. Access the guide at FEMA.
