On February 6 or 22, join the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) for an Awareness Briefing on a campaign of cyber attacks targeting managed service providers (MSPs) being executed by malicious actors working on behalf of the Chinese government. The U.S. government issued advisories on this activity on December 20, and WaterISAC’s December 20 SRU contained a summary of the information that had been disclosed. During the briefing, CISA will provide additional background on the threat and recommend steps MSPs and their customers can take to protect themselves from future attacks. Victims of these attacks have suffered from the loss of sensitive or proprietary information, as well as service disruptions, financial loss, and reputational harm. Organizations of all sizes, from all sectors, are still at risk for similar attacks in the future. WaterISAC has posted a flyer with additional information about these webinars below. Registration is limited, so register early to guarantee a spot. The content is the same for both sessions. Register at DHS.
