Despite repeated warnings to patch on-prem and hybrid Microsoft Exchange servers during the past couple of years, the number of vulnerable servers remains concerning. With Microsoft Exchange being such a valuable asset, threat actors aren’t likely to abandon this attack vector anytime soon and organizations are urged to stop deferring patches and find a way forward to protect this high-value attack target.
