Europol announces it has launched a new version of its “No More Ransom” website, where visitors can find 121 free tools to decrypt 151 ransomware families. Now in its fifth year, Europol notes the repository has helped more than six million people recover their files for free. Europol also says the revamped website has been modernized and made to be more user-friendly. It also offers updated information on ransomware, as well as advice on how to prevent a ransomware infection. Europol also reminds its partners that the best way to deal with ransomware is to never have an infection, and for this it offers a series of prevention tips. Some of these include regularly backing up data and being wary of attachments in emails. Read more and access the website at Europol.
