U.S. EPA Releases Interactive Flood Resilience Guide

The U.S. EPA has developed a guide to help drinking water and wastewater utilities become more resilient to flooding. The guide helps utilities examine the threat of flooding, determine impacts to assets, and identify cost-effective mitigation options. The approach used in the guide was successfully tested during a pilot project at the Berwick Water Department in Maine. The guide includes a user-friendly layout, embedded videos, and flood maps to help guide utilities through the process.
