Yesterday, a federal grand jury in Atlanta, Georgia indicted two Iranian men for executing the SamSam ransomware attack on the City of Atlanta. This indictment follows the one made last week by a federal grand jury in Newark, New Jersey, which formally charged the same two men for having executed the SamSam ransomware campaign, albeit in more general terms (as discussed in the November 29 SRU).
