The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and government and industry partners recently published the Building A More Resilient ICT Supply Chain: Lessons Learned During The COVID-19 Pandemic report, which examines how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the logistical supply chains of information and communication technology companies and provides recommendations to increase supply chain resilience. WaterISAC is aware of some water/wastewater utilities having been affected by supply chain impacts experienced by information and communication technology companies, such as when they transitioned employees to remote work environments but were unable to quickly procure computers and other devices from vendors who had run out of supplies. Read the report and an accompanying message from CISA below.
