FEMA recently launched the National Resource Hub to support partners in implementing the resource management preparedness process defined in the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the National Qualification System (NQS).

The National Resource Hub is a suite of web-based tools that support a consistent approach for resource management. It consolidates and integrates existing FEMA-provided systems for resource management preparedness activities that include inventorying, typing resources, managing personnel qualifications, and credentialing. For example, it facilitates access to and automates the use of NIMS resource typing definitions, position qualification sheets, and position task book templates. This resource serves as a no-cost solution for all government agencies at all levels, non-governmental organizations, and other partners. Information is stored in a secure cloud-hosted, government-authorized environment, where organizations and resource owners retain full ownership and control of their resources.

Access the National Resource Hub at FEMA.

Additionally, FEMA is hosting a series of educational webinars on the National Resource Hub and its individual tools in beginning in January. Learn more and register at FEMA.
