The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of Infrastructure Protection (IP) has published the latest version of its Partnership Bulletin, which provides a snapshot of upcoming training and exercise opportunities, critical infrastructure events, and key announcements. Some of the upcoming events include:

- A reminder that September is National Preparedness Month, with themes for each week nested in this year’s overall theme of “Disasters Happen. Prepare Now. Learn How;”

- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Region VIII Infrastructure Resilience Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 12;

- The Software and Supply Chain Assurance Fall 2018 Forum in McLean, Virginia on September 26-27;

- Risk Management Process and Facility Security Committee Training, with convenings in Denver, Colorado on September 25; Laguna Niguel, California on September 27; in the National Capital Region on October 2; Oakland, California on October 15; San Francisco, California on October 16; Santa Ana, California on October 18; Seattle, Washington on December 4; and Portland, Oregon on December 6;

- The Chemical Sector Monthly Unclassified Threat Call, which is intended to provide unclassified threat information to Chemical Sector partners and those in associated sectors and is held on the fourth Thursday of each month (September 27 for this month);

- Corporate Security Symposia, which is intended to inform public and private sector audiences on the most challenging security issues the nation faces today, with convening in New York, New York on October 16; Louisville, Kentucky on November 1; Los Angeles, California on December 6; Biloxi, Mississippi on March 20, 2019; Norfolk, Virginia on April 3, 2019; and Bentonville, Arkansas on August 14, 2019;

- Active Shooter Preparedness Workshops, with convenings in Portland, Oregon on September 10; Detroit, Michigan on September 11; Las Vegas, Nevada on September 13; University Place, Washington on September 27; Saint Michael, North Dakota on October 2; Denver, Colorado on October 4; Westminster, Colorado on October 4; Atlantic City, New Jersey on October 15; New York City, New York on October 16; White Plains, New York on October 19; and Phoenix, Arizona on November 7;

- DHS Office of Bombing Prevention Training Courses, with both computer-based and in-person training opportunities on a variety of topics from now until late October; and

- The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) Physical and Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure Training Course, with convenings in Orlando, Florida on September 10; Lake Charles, Louisiana on September 12; Glenview, Illinois on September 21; Oak Forest, Illinois on October 11; and North Charleston, North Carolina on November 15.
