This webinar will focus on the January 2025 Los Angeles wildfires and what lessons water and wastewater utilities can learn from this disaster. Around the globe, wildfires are becoming more frequent and intense due to a combination of rising temperatures, drier landscapes, accumulated fuels, and expanded human presence in fire-prone areas. Amid this new reality, water and wastewater utilities are at a greater risk of operational disruptions from wildfires.
