Water Sector Cyber Resilience Briefing – Sneak Peek: WaterISAC’s Refreshed 12 Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Water and Wastewater Utilities

Wednesday, March 27, 2024; 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET

Join us on March 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM ET during our monthly Cyber Resilience Briefing when members will get a sneak peek of WaterISAC’s refreshed Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Water and Wastewater Utilities.

The Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Water and Wastewater Utilities isn’t meant to be just “another” guidance document. Likewise, it’s not intended to be all-encompassing. The 2024 update is designed to be a cohesive document bringing some of the best recommendations, current guidance, and PRACTICAL steps for water and wastewater utilities to bolster cyber resilience. Specifically, we’re collecting practical applications and implementation examples from some of the best water and wastewater systems designers.

Presenter, co-contributor to the 2024 fundamentals refresh, and water and wastewater systems expert Gus Serino will explain why the fundamentals went from 15 to 12, how they will be released throughout the year, and what’s changed (and why). Gus will also dig a little deeper into the first three fundamentals that will be released to the public on March 28, 2024.
