On November 4, WaterISAC and the National Association of Water Companies hosted a one-hour webinar highlighting how utilities have supported employees’ mental health and wellbeing as they continue to serve their communities against the backdrop of a pandemic, wildfires, severe storms, and other hazards.

Panelists

  • Pat Pauly, Milwaukee Water Works’ Administration Manager, discussed Milwaukee’s employee assistance program.
  • Jim Wollbrinck, San Jose Water’s Director of Emergency Management & Business Resiliency, described San Jose’s Peer Support Team and other supplemental programming.

The panelists highlighted leading practices from their own organizations and discussed how other utilities can better support employees who face a growing number of stressors at work and at home.
